I am excited to announce our P.S. 192 Lions Kindness Week, taking place from February 13 to February 17. This special week is dedicated to promoting kindness, positivity, and compassion in our school community.
During this week, we will be engaging in various activities and meaningful kindness challenges to commemorate the event. Our goal is to bring joy and fun while spreading kindness and positivity throughout our school.
Studies have shown that when children are taught kindness, empathy, and compassion, they develop a strong sense of empathy and concern for others. This leads to a decrease in bullying and an increase in pro-social behavior. It also helps to create a school culture where students feel valued and supported, which is essential for their overall well-being and academic success.
At PS192, we believe in the importance of instilling kindness and compassion in our students. Our Kindness Week is a testament to that belief and our commitment to creating a positive and inclusive school environment.
