Father's Day

June 16, 2024, we will be celebrating Father's Day across New York and all states in the United States. Father's Day, which falls on the third Sunday of June, honors fathers and father figures, recognizing their vital role in families and society.

Father's Day was first observed on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington, and became a national holiday in 1972 when President Richard Nixon signed it into law. This special day is an opportunity to show appreciation for fathers through various activities, including family gatherings, special meals, and thoughtful gifts.

Let's take this opportunity to make Father's Day a memorable occasion, honoring the dedication and love that fathers provide.

Happy Father's Day to all the incredible dads of PS 192!
