In recognition of Juneteenth, an important day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, PS 192 will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024.
Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19th, marks a significant milestone in our nation’s history. It serves as a time for reflection, education, and celebration of African American culture and achievements. We encourage our students, staff, and families to take this day to honor and learn more about this pivotal event and its enduring impact on our society.
School will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, June 20th, 2024.
