Inspirational Corner
"Embrace the present, for today holds the promise of new beginnings and endless possibilities."
At PS 192, we believe that joy comes not from what we have, but from the experiences we create, the memories we share, and the love we give. Every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and cherish the moments that make life meaningful.
Let’s continue building a school community where every child and family feels supported, inspired, and valued. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
"The behavior we model at home is the foundation for our children's growth. Our actions are a mirror, reflecting values that shape who we become. Let’s strive to inspire positivity in our words, actions, and decisions, and build a future filled with kindness and integrity. Together, we can make every day a lesson in character! 🏫✨"

ID- To ensure the safety of children, and as per DOE regulation, you always need to bring your photo I.D when you come to your child’s school.
We highly recommend taking the time each week to touch base with your child's teachers. Whether through email, in-person meetings, ClassDojo, or virtual conferences, staying connected can greatly enhance your child's educational experience.
Library Mornings Program- We would like to inform all Parents and Guardians that the library is open for your use with your children from Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 7:50 am. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to borrow books, work on computers, and practice reading.
Lost Items - Please note that if your child misplaces any belongings, you are encouraged to visit the lost and found area. Items that remain unclaimed by the end of each month will be thoughtfully donated to the Salvation Army.

The Parent Newsletter
March 2025
Subject: Welcoming March – Important Events & Parent-Teacher Conferences
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we step into the month of March, I want to take a moment to keep you informed about the exciting events and activities happening at PS 192. This month provides valuable opportunities for engagement, learning, and collaboration as we continue working together to support our students' success.
Important Dates to Remember:
📌 Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences – Thursday, March 6 (by appointment only) 📌 Parent Association Meeting – Tuesday, March 11 at 8:00 a.m. 📌 Coffee with the Principal – Friday, March 21 at 8:00 a.m.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of participating in our Parent-Teacher Conferences. These meetings provide a vital opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, strengths, and areas for growth. Education is a continuous journey, and challenges are part of the learning process. By maintaining open communication with your child’s teachers, we can work together to create a supportive learning environment that nurtures their success. Our dedicated educators are always available to listen, guide, and collaborate with you in ensuring the best possible outcomes for your child.
Your involvement in school activities and events is truly valued and plays a significant role in building a strong and engaged school community. I look forward to seeing you at the conferences and throughout the month’s events.
Wishing you all a wonderful and productive March!
With justice, honor, and self-discipline, Hilduara Abreu Principal, PS 192

During National Reading Month, we encourage you to support your child's literacy development by engaging in shared reading activities.
Consider the following:
-
Have your child read aloud a page from their favorite book to you.
-
Encourage your child to read about someone they admire, fostering both reading skills and inspiration.
These practices not only enhance reading proficiency but also strengthen the bond between you and your child. For additional ideas and resources, you might explore the National Reading Month activities provided by Reading Is Fundamental.
