The behavior we model at home is the foundation for our children's growth. Our actions are a mirror, reflecting values that shape who we become. Let’s strive to inspire positivity in our words, actions, and decisions, and build a future filled with kindness and integrity. Together, we can make every day a lesson in character! 🏫✨"

November is also a month rich in celebrations and commemorations within our community and beyond. Whether you are honoring Native American Heritage Month, Diwali, Veterans Day, or Thanksgiving, we embrace the diversity that makes PS 192 special. We invite families to share their cherished traditions with us, creating opportunities to learn and grow together as a community.
introducing "Reading at Home: Nurturing Infinite Potential through Literacy"
We are thrilled to announce a new initiative aimed at empowering our students and enhancing their reading skills within the home environment. “Reading at Home: Nurturing Infinite Potential through Literacy” bridges school learning and family engagement, supporting parents as partners in their child’s education.
We believe reading is a key to unlocking each child’s infinite potential. Engaging children in meaningful reading experiences fosters curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. By embedding reading into daily life, we nurture both academic success and personal growth.
To aid this initiative, we have created a comprehensive reading guide for families, which includes:
- Tips for Parents: Practical strategies to cultivate reading habits and engage in thoughtful discussions with your child.
- Free Online Books: Age-appropriate and value-aligned books that encourage perseverance, empathy, and respect.
- Additional Resources: Links to interactive platforms where children can enjoy stories and build reading comprehension.
We invite you to explore this guide, available on our website: https://www.ps192.org/reading-at-home/, and encourage you to incorporate reading into your family’s routine. Your involvement can make a significant impact on your child’s development and reinforce our school’s vision: “Good, better, best. Never let it rest until your good is better, and your better is best.”
Thank you for your continued dedication and partnership. Your support helps make PS 192 a school where joyful learning and infinite possibilities flourish.
We look forward to welcoming you at our upcoming events and wish you all a restful and joyous Thanksgiving Recess.
With justice, honor, and self-discipline,
